Christ! There's a lot of ****ing tits on this forum!:patsch

Would anyone actually think its a good idea to fight with an injury?
That its a good idea to fake an injury at the last moment and loose a marvellous oportunity after months of hard training?
Basically as is often the case people are believing what they want to believe.

sometimes pro boxers do chicken out of fights - floyd with Cotto (I will retire from boxing, boxing wont retire me) and Margarito (I'll fight him anywhere any time if Bob show me the money...who is Margarito?) and now Mosley (I want $20 million guaranteed), Burns for two years from Jack Johnson, Valuev from Wladimir, Povetkin from Wladimir. Tyson from Lewis in 96 when he paid $4 step aside. Bowe from Lewis in 92. Hopkins from Adamek.

and now very likely Haye from Wladimir.

FFS thats just a list of fights that didn't come off for various reasons. Haye-Wlad was signed and ready to go and in that situation pro boxers very, very rarely (if ever!!!) "chicken out".

I think the 7 weeks story was concocted because every spotted the "few weeks' back injury (no such thing) for the Crock of **** it was. If he had asked for a September postponement, I'd buy that. Any back injury that can stop a fight isn't going to clear up sooner than that.

haye tried to get out of signing the contract, he wanted to blame it on the lawyers, the only reason he signed after almost two months of stalling was because Wlad kept waiting and revising the contract TO MAKE THE FIGHT. Haye never anticipated Wlad would hunt him down like that. Wlad put him in a position where he had to sign. or Haye would have destroyed his own rep. So haye signed - and then conveniently comes up with this hand i mean knee i mean back injury. less than a week after saying how he needed one more chance to get under Wlad's skin.

it all coudnt be more obvious. Wlad is unbeatable now, he is such a different monster than he was after the Brewster fight. All the HWTS know this but they won't give the credit. Just look at the truth, look what happens after you fight Wlad - you're career is over - Peter, Byrd, Brock, Ibragimov, Austin, Thompson are all finished. Haye knows how good Wlad is DESPITE all his BS. He knows his career would have been over on June 20 - and the grave would have been even deeper with all the talk he did. This phony injury, and the hope he can now go after the 38 yr old and fading Vitali instead, has saved his career.

I think it was a legit injury and you guys are reading too much into it. These are professional athletes and this regularly happens.
