After Kessler's post fight comments, I will NEVER root for him again.

Kessler was being a whiny little *****. Dirrell had more to complain about, but he took his loss like a man and has moved on. Back on topic though, headbutts or not Ward beat the **** out of him. Also, he shouldn't whine about the inside fighting that's apart of Boxing. Ward had a great gameplan and executed it to perfection. Kessler should have adjusted, adapted, and overcome like a true champ, instead of being a baby after the fight.

Kessler did get dominated but he didn't take a terrible beating. This shouldn't be the fight that makes his career go downhill from here, he did take shots all night but he wasn't as bad as some one sided fights.

I hate this board. Having not seen the fight it's impossible for me to discern anything about the fight accurately by reading posters comments because everyone is biased as ****. **** this nationalism BS, judge a fighter on his merits as a fighter and a person and just say what the **** happened without putting your own spin on it to try to convince whoever reading that fighter A was a dirty cheater or fighter B was a crybaby.

The fight is on youtube and has been linked in a thread I think. Without bull**** Ward was very good, Kessler very flat. Ward won, but won dirty. Kessler didnt cry about it, just called it how he saw it at the end of the fight. The ref wasnt great. Ward didnt cheat but he was far from being an angel. He really should have lost a point for the last butt IMO and was lucky not to but at the end of the days its a fight not a tickling contest. More importantly than the reffing or butting was that Kessler showed a lack of inside game that let him Ward do it.

    Now go watch the fight.

I'll give you objective. Kessler was not fast enough and Ward threw crazy combos from all angles. There were two unintentional butts, the first in the 8th round that opened up Kesslers left eye. The other harder butt was in the 10th that really ****ed up Kesslers right eye. Kessler was losing badly before these butts and had a look of discouragement from the dearly rounds on and his face was in bad shape by the 8th. I believe the refs were generous in giving Kessler a round at all, let alone 2. He won maybe 2 exchanges in the fight. He was dominated by Wards speed and punches thrown when even the veiwer least expected him to throw a punch. The venue and ref had nothing to do with Wards style.

Oh very objective. Even the reff said he saw 5 butts. As for being generous giving Kessler a round now you are just talking arse.

Hmmm I didn't notice that, i'd have to watch the fight again.

Seemed to me that for the most part the ref was simply trying to get the guys to fight out the clinches, no?

Seemed like a wipeout to me, man. The other 3 butts were negligable. The fighters didn't even signal to their head when they happened.
