I can't see them going with Chisora either. It will depend a bit on how the Skelton fight goes,if he makes light work of him they may feel its worth moving up a bit but I still don't think Chisora will get the fight. If he struggles with Skelton he might meet another Brit. Sprott maybe.
Stong statement to make, what makes you feel Price is a fraud?. I'm yet to jump on this Price bandwagon BTW :good.
I really didn't want to put it as bluntly as that guy but ****.. David Price gets a bye on everything for being a scouser. The man is nearly 30. He's not a Tyson Fury who is just 24 and has 10 years in front of him.. He's being held back for a reason, be it him being a money earner and Maloney not wanting to lose his cash cow or him having a fragile chin.
Yep i see where your coming from bro :good, For me Price has had a extensive AM background and he's not baby. He's been pro long enough, get him fighting at European/Fringe world level asap!. Wanting the Lonsdale belt outright is fine but even after Skelton he'd need to stick around for longer. I don't mind if he goes and fights a fringe world class fighter wins then has another quick defence of title. That would be acceptable anything less wouldn't be IMO.
I think some are being a bit harsh on Price. Sure, he's 29 years of age but he's a heavyweight.Age isn't a problem. He's still only had 14 fights and so far hasn't put a foot wrong. I don't see the need to rush, although, obviously, Audley and Harrison are crap fights.
I won't be able to forgive another **** opponent after Skelton. Tyson Fury's Dereck Chisora and Denis Boystov are showing up Price's opposition to be an absolute disgrace.
Commonwealth isn't even worth defending IMO. Pricey has easily enough time, 29 years old only 2-3 years away from the big time with a potential what 4-5 years at the top? Long enough to make a lot of money and to make his legacy. For me over his last few fights he has shown vast improvements, other than his supposed 'chin' issues which I don't even personally believe. He does not have a lot of flaws and he still has time to improve. The Skelton fight is a month after the Harrison fight, if he didn't have this fight and just waited until say March no one would moan. If he gets his final defence of the British title in February/March then moves on to European level in the summer that is fine by me. Pulev is a difficult fight so that may not be the route to take. Do people believe Price would take Pulev at this point?
Maloney hasn't held him back. His career was f*cked up by Hayemaker right from the start. Maloney didn't have much to work with, so had to virtually restart his career.
Towers is getting KO'd by Lucas IMO, the only fight Price should be looking at is Helenius. It will give him the exposure he needs and by the looks of it some credibility.
I don't think they ever let Price fight Pulev.. I think the rumours were that Pulev showed him up in sparring while cruising. I know it doesn't mean much but apparently Pricey got absolutely pummelled. I reckon they'll feed him Ustinov, Dimitrenko, Sosnowski. Guys like that, easy to hit and slow as ****, make him look spectacular then cash out when they can.
How long ago was that sparring session DeMarco?. I'm sure someone the other week said Price did well against him. Would love to see them two fight a true test for Price..
