Agit Kabayel vs. Damian Knyba set for January 10.

I actually think this is why there's limited interest in him. Who wants to invest interest in a fighter if you need to wait a year in between fights? That's kind of a serious question. Unless you are a name already in the last stanza of a glittering career, there needs to be fairly constant reminders in the general media, or boxing media at least, of your presence.

Having said that ... there's probably going to be a big Saudi card announced in the new year. This fight is probably about right to ensure he's on it, if all goes well. IMO Knyba is not a soft touch, and he's workable for what it will be money wise. He has good optics if he can be KO'd.

 

I agree Kabayel needs a big/busy 2026 to make the most of his career.
