Yeah you never know, think it's way too early to start the Ali comparisons, let's wait for his rematch with wlad. This could be Ali's Liston moment, or it could be Leon spinks Ali moment.

Even if he beats wlad I suspect he will go on to get beat by a fair few big guys who aren't scared of him.

Tough one to call because, although AJ has looked very impressive, we still don't know a lot about him; can he go 12 rounds, can he take good shots over the long haul, can he adapt, fight on the inside, fight backing up, how does he deal with combination punches instead of single or double shots he has mainly faced thus far. In fairness to Joshua, he hasn't had a chance to show us this yet which is a better position to be in than if he had and it became apparent it was a weakness.

As for Fury, since the Chisora fight he has become a predominantly back foot, outside fighter and he is very good at it. However, the opponents have to be taken into context. Chisora and Hamer are tailor made for Fury's new style being that they are no thrills come forward fighters. Wlad, whilst a dominant champion, is someone who only throws when he has a stationary target at the end of his jab. Fury gave him constant movement so Wlad's output ground to a standstill. AJ doesn't just tentatively stay on the outside, pawing with his jab looking for openings and he has shown a tendency to throw against a moving target which would mean that Fury would have a much more active fighter tracking him down. We should also remember that on the rare times Wlad would unload on Fury, he did have some success. Fury's game plan against Wlad was perfect as him and Peter had devised a plan that would make Wlad serverly lower his output. This won't be as effective against Joshua.

If the fight were to happen tomorrow then i would pick Fury, but with no real confidence. I would only be picking him for his experience and there being too many unknowns with Joshua.

Kevin Johnson was moving his head, AJ was still landing. Obviously johnson is not that great but he was still moving.
