It's interesting - I've been to the PDC darts a few times. The smaller shows (1-2000 people) are great fun, family friendly despite being a bit boozy, almost like a Butlins night out. The big events like Alexandra Palace and the O2 are basically cokeheads on a big night out and I've seen fights break out regularly. The annual Premier League night at the Hydro in Glasgow is carnage.
I love Joyce with his sneaky body shots. AJ has decent body shots now too though I think Joyce would win an epic war of attrition breaking AJ late
Usyk is far better than Wilder, he was awful in that second fight v Fury, Usyk`s movement is something Fury`s never faced and his constant head movement will baffle Fury.
This is probably the reality. No harm in losing to an elite fighter, but when you have been marketed as the second coming and have a tantrum on live TV it’s reasonable to expect that you are gonna get a bit of sh*t for it.
I assume Dazn was smart enough to have de-escalator clauses in the contract that lower AJ’s pay as he accumulates losses and allows them to drop him if he loses two or three in a row. Better make ‘em count.
Without doubt he does. The public and in particular are a very fickle bunch and losing fights has a material impact on your star power. AJ will always have fans but Fury is riding the crest of a wave and he is the biggest star by quite a distance now.
