No doubt AJ fans once he takes care of this old past it plodder will add this as a significant victory to his supposedly stacked resume when Pulev is nowhere near the elite.

Come on now....the last thing joshua needs is bargaining power. With or without the belts realistically he can fight anyone he wants with the money their talking about. Keeping the belts is convienient for staying away from anyone that could beat him. Pulev is 38 years old. Povetkin was 40. Klitchko was 42. Takam was 40 or something like that. Martin and breazeale have proven to be not very good. Whyte was a novice at that point with no real trainer, money to fund a proper fight camp etc. Ortiz probably was offered the fight but it was after hearn had him signed....they got a good look at him and thought it was winnable. Again a 40 year old man. Wilders no better as well tbh. But at some point you,ve got to prove your the best instead of just saying it. Both are good. But both are getting the help and backing of good promotional teams. If say wilder becomes mandatory will they still keep the belt. Or is it only because its pulev.

Fair enough fight pulev. Let fury and wilder fight.....then get the joshua v wilder fight after that. Usyk will be too small for joshua. Usyks not as great as hes made out to be and also not a heavyweight. Pulevs worse than hes already beaten.

Chisora will give usyk a fight. Usyk v joshua will also be a boring fight as will pulev v joshua. The best fight in that division is wilder v joshua. How many more average guys at this point do they need to beat to fight each other. Until wilders a bit too old for it.

I think joshua could do with one more after ruiz with the new style etc but after that the wheels need to be in motion for wilder or fury if hes even still around. Anyone else is a backward step at this point. Somethings not adding up....we,re being told hes easily the best.....yet hes not even talking about fighting the guys at the top.

Agree about wilder. But in fairness to fury....he went to germany....massively unfavoured and ended klitchko,s reign. Klitchko was old but was still formidable at that point.

Again after a 3 year lay off put on ridiculous amounts of weight. Against all sane advice went across to america to basically beat wilder. The apparent most dangerous puncher around. He,ll most likely do the rematch as well. Thats a guy thats took the bigger risks. Wheres joshua at with wilder. Wheres wilder at with joshua. These two are avoiding each other. Furys took real risks. Joshua took very calculated risks as has wilder. Its time for them both to step up. Make the fight happen.

Nobody will f....g fight him that's why he hasn't a great resume

    high risk, low reward

He would easily beat the majority of Aj's resume

This was an alright fight when first announced a while back but can't see it being anything over than routine given Pulev's age now. But, it's a mandatory so it is what it is. Still not the worst fight in the world

Joshua already beat Wlad. Pulev is just a smaller version of Wlad.

AJ TKO in about 8 rounds.

Tbh it depends which Pulev turns up, he’s still a top fighter although getting on in age, is he cashing out or does he really put up a fight?

Usyk will be far harder to beat than Pulev and can match and outdo AJ`s footspeed backwards and forwards.
