There is nothing Wilder can do to be earning £15,000,000+ per fight without Joshua.

    That's just a fact.

If Joshua retired tomorrow, Wilder would never reach those heights.

    As for the Klitschko/Wilder comparisons.....

Can someone show me evidence of 15 million+ fans watching Wilder fight after fight?

Klitschko brings more revenue tomorrow than Wilder ever has, or will.

Dunno why people are getting so bent out of shape, the negotiations have to start somewhere.

8 mil is a good baseline and I’d assume Finkel and company will get at least 15 mil if they agree to a venue in the UK and rematch clause in America only if the AJ loses via decision. If Wilder starches him in the UK a new contract with assumed leverage for Wilder is fair play and a real possibility so it would be wise to forfeit some monetary value today and reinvest that energy into favorable language for the rematch stipulations.

Nobody in America cares about Joshua outside of boxing fans, and even then, most can see that he is a fraud

I'm sure some won't be happy unless Joshua has to fight both Povetkin and Wilder in a 24 hour period, flying between Russia and the US too.

At this stage the facts are this - Joshua has to fight Povetkin next unless granted an exception.

If he is forced to fight Povetkin, and he wins.....

    - He'd have wins over 4 ex world champions on his resume.
    - He'd have 4 belts (3 major ones), including 2 unifications.
    - He'd be the biggest draw in world Heavyweight boxing.....by some distance too.

The guys that are criticizing Joshua but hyping up Usyk need to have a good long look at yourselves. He's 3 years younger than Usyk....and has achieved far more.

Boxing is dead in America though......

More people in Germany watched Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko than Americans have watched all of Deontay Wilder's fights combined.

That’s largely because they wanted to catch a glimpse of Haye in the stadium.

Wilder vs Joshua is the biggest match there is to be made at heavyweight.
Parker made peanuts fighting cans in kiwi land before being offered 33% as a virtual unknown.
Wilder brings more name recognition and is a live threat with his ko power and at least deserves the same respect with a minimum of 30% as well.

    @CutThroatFade

Stop being fanboyish and look at the facts man.

Joshua is selling his fights all over the world....

Deontay struggles to sell them outside of Alabama.

So either way AJ ducks somebody.

If he fights Wilder he is ducking Povetkin and if he fights Povetkin he is ducking Wilder?
