AJ shouldn't disappear from boxing just like that, I hope he wins :(

It was Anthony Joshua who brought excitement to boxing industry for over 3 years. He is in the beginning of his reign. It shouldn't be so short. Otherwise millions of fans will feel void and disappointment, because they have believed in him.

AJ MUST and will KO Andy Ruiz in a devastating fashion in the rematch and show his fans that he was not a false champion.

Look, it was just a lucky punch from Ruiz when he was about to be knocked out. AJ had a concussion, and couldn't put himself together from that point forward.

The “lucky punch” myth diehard Joshua fans keeping telling themselves is gonna come back to bite them.

I think you need to read this DIngus, to rid yourself of this silly notion.

He brought excitement to Matchroom FC casuals in the UK.

They were already starting to lose interest anyway.

Unifying the heavyweight crown would bring excitement. And that is more doable if Ruiz wins so PBC can put together Wilder (if he beats Fury) and Andy.

If AJ wins, it’s probably either a KSA version of a Brit stoppage or a jab-and-grab borefest with a dodgy ref and two or three dodgy judges already in the bag. And then AJ will run home and hide behind Eddie rather than try to unify.

Brought a lot trouble to the bars and night clubs more like. I'll be happy to be rid of those drunken football hoodlums, running amok across the cities! Good riddance! lol

If Smith-Ryder is any indication, This is a possibility unfortunately. Let’s hope not. Boxing really doesn’t need something like that on such a massive scale.

The world won’t be watching. It will fly under the radar. Brits will know what happened but not care. Hard-cores will know what happened and be outraged. The rest of the world won’t notice.

There are no lucky punches in boxing.

The money will disappear just a quickly as it came. SKY boxing will be ruined. The football fans and housewives that got on the AJ will get off the moment he gets beat again. The brits don’t like losers

Meh. Not a fan of his nor am I a fan of his hooligan football fans/Matchroom FC. Wouldn't care if he left the sport should he lose.

Fighting two times a year carries boxing?
For comparison, Nadal/Federer/Djokovic, players said to carry the sport of tennis, play 70 odd matches a year all over the world. Of course you can't fight that much, but the point is those players truly do bring the overwhelming majority of excitement.

AJ is 30 and he still has a lot to offer, a possible defeat against Ruiz does not mean the end of his career, he will be back, but personally I think AJ will win the rematch...
