I have real respect for Wlad
But we need new blood. A new face

They are both good HWs but I strongly believe AJ wins this and convincingly. Possibly in a couple of rounds

Ok, people need to factor a couple things in. The last time Wlad looked good was against Pulev over 2 years ago. He looked bad against Jennings and awful against FUry though you have to credit Fury. He's now been inactive for over a year, and by the time the Joshua fight comes around 1 year and a half. This is the perfect time for Joshua to fight him.

Fury is nothing but a disgraced cheater who is most likely still suspended for failing several tests.

Still a big step up for someones 19th fight. This is what I was saying about how HWs in the UK get stepped up

AJ is the next generation. Wlad is 40 years old and him winning does nothing for boxing. I don't expect him to win either, he's past it.

Like to see Wlad drop AJ in 4th rd, ahead 3 rds to 1, then AJ step on Wlads foot, Wlad go to grab, fall over, break an anke, and win TD then be forced to retire.

    AJ to win.

Wlad had his time in the spotlight, it is now time for the new guard.

This. Wlad is old, hasn't been active, and is coming off a loss. Ortiz and Wilder are the only guys that have a chance at beating Joshua, since Fury seems to be out of the picture.

I give Vlad an excellent chance of knocking Joshua out.....................................................if Vlad is still at 50% of his old self..............................................Vlad sure toyed with Joshua in sparring, the same with Wilder.....................I think Ruiz would beat Willder, so would Parker, Wilder is still running from Povetkin who was framed, then proven clear by VADA, then the WBC still protected Wilder, Wilder will be fighting his 5th voluntary title defense against another unranked bum in a row......................................a heavyweight record!

    I'm favouring Joshua.

Fact is how often does the aging former champion really beat the young rising heir apparent? Wlad isn't in his mid 30's or even late 30's he's 40 years old, history suggests his time has passed.

I think Joshua right now, is quicker, has the better jab and can beat Wlad to the punch and control the pace of the fight and that's going to be key to beating Wlad, who isn't a good counter puncher and does best when he can dictate the pace of the fight. Joshua wins via stoppage in the middle rounds.
