All jokes aside, I thought Dubois would beat Joshua based on their last few opponents. Dubois faced much tougher opponents in his last 3 fights - Hrgovic, Miller and Usyk, While Joshua faced easy opponents - Ngannou, Wallin and Helenius. I would say that Joshua has been shot for awhile. But careful matchmaking helped fool the moneyman!
Yeah I was completely wrong, I am happily eating the crow. Dubois beat him from pillar to post. Aj is finished. Lost speed, no defence at all and the main problem is his arrogance
The rematch will confirm one way or the other. I do think he made too many mistakes right from the start of a fundamental nature. DO I THINK HE CAN BEAT DUBOIS? THE ANSWER IS YES? WILL HE? THAT IS TO BE DETERMINED ESPECIALLY AS IT'S A MIND GAME FOR HIM.
It's been a good last few months for HW underdogs. Chisora, Bakole, Miller(even though he didn't get the nod on paper) and now Dubois. Will be interesting to see if this trend continues.
