That might be a little bit of a naive take, even if he doesn't actively exert influence over the editorial board things will still flow down, happens in every organization.

 

That might be true, but we haven't heard anything like that from the board. Last time the new owner tried to interfeer a lot of journalist left The Ring and started TBRB. Also, Ajagba situation no way points to any interference.

 

You can make that argument but Bakole is more talented (imo) and entertaining to watch so I’m ok with it.

 

Also he gets a mulligan for the Parker KO because he flew in to Saudi literally the day of the fight to save the main event. For sure that engendered some good will with Turki.
