Agree with that. 6 rounds on one of the scorecards seems a bit wide, but great competitive fight

 

Good fight, very close. I had Ajisafe winning 7-5, he fought in spurts and had the most success when Francis was backing up giving him the space to land the harder shots.

I've always liked Francis but he's a shadow of his former self. I'm amazed he had so much success with his right hand, he's been a one handed fighter for most of his career. Very brave performance from Francis.

 

Cracking fight, this tournament looks like a good idea, credit to c5 and Hennesey for getting boxing on terrestrial tv.

Ajisafe is the classiest guy in the tournament imo, just glad too see boxing on terrestrial tv.

 

what happens with the tourney now since Hill and Senior was a technical draw?

Have not watched the fights from tonight yet as I'm nightshift!!!

 

Senior fights Ajisafe which will be pretty one sided imo, i thought Hill was just starting to boss things.

 

Strange result for me, I had francis winning by two clear rounds. Thought francis boxed clever and made Ajisafe miss a lot more. Good close fight though. Looking forward to the rest of the fights.

 

The title holder goes through plus Hill wouldn't be ready to box in May when the semis are.
