Interesting never thought of it like that, I left school in year 10 but i get what you mean about friends. I only kept a few friends from school the rest we lost contact and now i try avoid saying hello if i can but if they see me i will nod and say hello etc but they were fair weather friends. I keep it mutual but i know who the real ones are.

I'm not sure if it feels the same because I stayed on up till sixth form but it's sad when you know everyone's done and gone. Sorta scary, even. That's the word I was looking for (Fair weather). I was always looking for a word that describes people that aren't loyal. Have you seen him spar Rios? During it, I swear he was squealing and telling Rios not to hurt him. Funniest thing I had watched in ages.
Yeah i saw it, and Pavlik who i think didn't like AJJ . Rios was hilarious espicially when he showed utter disregard for Apollo when he let him hit him in the face numerous times in a row and laughed. Yeah see what you mean, time flies mate and that's what scares me . Seriously i remember playing nutmeg rush in the playground like it was yesterday now some are fathers and some i haven't seen in years. It's funny cos some people i'm friends with now, i wasn't that close to in school. Strange really.. My missus says same thing about her so called friends soon as Uni came they went AWOL on her.
I've sparred him before and I was there when he stepped on the scales after the session. He also said on camera a couple of days afterwards. :tired
Apollo reckons he gave Rios problems in that sparring session also how tall is apollo because he makes rios look like a giant in that sparring session.
It was actually pretty fun, as there was a few of us doing rotating rounds. The thing about Apollo though is he seems to treat it as more of an actual bout; not intensity wise, but it's like he has the mentality that if you haven't hurt him/dropped him, then he hasn't 'lost'.
Good luck to him, he was entertaining always enjoyed his vids. If nothing else he got around and managed to meet and spar quite a few names. Boxing needs characters like him. He is like a modern version of a Damon Runyon character. Good luck for your future Apollo.

I would love to see him come face to face with Toney after Toney has seen that video. I've always liked Ellie. He's a bit unconventional but you can tell the people in boxing like him, and don't mind him being around.
