I’d prefer to see him fight the winner of ortiz/ruiz next but the whyte rematch will make the most money and suck the casuals in. Shame whyte won’t have time to get a win in before hand

We all know AJ is an annoying, fake as eff tit who you obviously have an unhealthy hatred of (did he shag your girlfriend/wife/sister/mother perhaps? Or all of the above?) but FFS! have a ****ing day off already. You've developed your very own AJDS!

No hatred from me pal, I’m intrigued where they try and go next with the narrative now heel turn AJ has made an appearance.

Could be a real game changer, I’ve got a feeling the mic snatcher may even find his heart inside the ring if he lets go of all the scripted bullsht out of it.

Ruiz III is the fight I want to see most, it’s his shot at redemption to prove heel turn AJ isn’t scared of the little fatty like scripted AJ was.

Barry Hearn confirmed AJ turned down 50m to fight Wilder and that offer had a lot less complications too. It was a one-off, one-fight flat fee.

AJs team also offered Wilder $100m for 3 fights. Breazeale and two AJ fights. He’s never seen that money since and never will again.

guy was so poorly advised it’s scary. Even his own promoter set up a meeting to tell him to take that deal.

Joshua only beats old men or puddings - check his record.

A non elite fringe pudding at best.

    No

His legacy is 1 June 2019 in New York and 20 August 2022 in Saudi.

Nothing he does now makes any difference

You've listed a load of people and not talked about the results they've helped to generate just grouped them altogether under the generalisation of 'hangers on'. Well some on that list may match that criteria, but all of them? Really?

I could, should I choose, write a long detailed explanation of the art of building a brand. It would be both true and devastatingly, mind wrenchingly dull to both author and reader. Nobody, but nobody wants to read that.

So instead I'd just ask you to look at the results. Not in the boxing ring, but on the balance sheet. Look at the sponsorship deals, the commercial revenue outside of fight purses. Look at the calibre of brands that have partnered with Joshua.

That doesn't happen by accident. Some of it comes about by Joshua's own achievements, the rest by careful management and clever strategising by people who understand the world of sports marketing. . They're part of the reason he will continue to earn massive sums long after he's hung up his gloves.

As I say, it would be dull to get into the nuts and bolts but these people don't look at AJ as a boxer and they've helped multiply his earnings many times over.

Just hope its something fresh and not a rematch. Even whyte...theres no real momentum for it atm. Whyte needs to go away and find some kind of form first.

I,d even take chisora before whyte. I reckon chisora of a few years ago could have possibly caused joshua problems. You dont need to be a big puncher to get to joshua as ruiz showed. Chisora although not a hard puncher...punched hard enough in recent years to potentially cause joshua problems.

Joyce would be good. I reckon joshua would beat him handily tbh. Joyce is better than he looks....but joshua would get to him before joyce could get joshua out of there with his stamina. I think to beat joshua without being a half decent puncher you do need to be elusive like usyk was. We,ll find out more about joyce after the parker fight tho. I think thats a genuine 50/50 fight tbh.

Bakole and hrgovic would be decent. Something new at least. Liked the ortiz fight a few years ago....but we,ve seen joshua bash up old men too many times now. Ortiz would have caused him big problems at one time imo. Class counter puncher. Wilder actually fought him well by lowering his own output and giving ortiz little to work off of. Too old now tho.

Suspicious it could end up otto wallin. But hoping not.

all a real boxer needs is a guy or two who can wrap hands and fix a cut and get on the phone to book sparring partners.

& (when the purses get big) a lawyer.

    that is it.

One of Joshua's entourage (the football agent) has just been on Talksport. He said that Joshua needs a rest before deciding if he will box again.

"But Eddie says he's boxing in December......"
