Alan Williams Delighted With Hyde MMA's Year; Planning Even Bigger 2011

Hyde MMA's Alan Williams checks in with us for a detailed look at 2010, and what next year could bring for the ever expanding and improving fight team from the Manchester area!

"Everything's gone according to plan. It couldn't have worked out better. There were a couple of close decisions, but I'm chuffed with how it's turned out, we've had an active year and everyone's played their part. We've had some good luck and some bad luck. Taking all of that on board, it's been a great year, and I can only see next year being even better."

On the year's positives:

"One is Leigh Cohoon winning the UCC Welterweight title, and defending it twice up to now," began Alan. "Next is getting our own cage, which has helped everyone go on to the next level in their training; it's been a real Godsend. Last but by no means least, having 42 contests in eight months and winning 30, losing 10 and drawing 2; and keep in mind most of those were Pro, and then Semi with head shots on the floor. Show me a gym that's done that good this year; you won't find many!"
