Julio is a little taller and has slightly longer reach. FWIW.

Does anyone disagree that between fights and between rounds for that matter, should just be The Ring Card girls making out in the middle of the ring? :think

Alright, it looks like they're getting around to live action on the Mexican card. I'm tuning out of this one for a bit. If the timing works out I'll try and return for Rossel vs. Diaz, but Zegarra vs. Julio will have to go unreported on unless someone else wants to take a stab.

The main event is starting on the other card!! (Salgado vs. Barros ring walks are underway now)

That one might in fact be over in time to return for Rossel vs. Diaz, especially if Zegarra vs. Julio goes the distance and they do more dancing after it.

Not sure if it's the Peruvian anthem or the girls singing it...but this is horrendous. (Sorry to any Peruvian's out there but...eurgh, almost as bad as God Save The Queen...)

    Round 1

Rossel is pushing Diaz back with jabs and sweeping rights to the body. Diaz tries to set traps, backing nearly to the ropes and then flying in with hooks and straight right hands. Rossel has the move scouted and is simply curling in and blocking before looking to tap Diaz on his way out.

    10-9 Rossel

Rossel round. Diaz tried boxing behind his jab early but Rossel was landing big right hands through out and took the round pretty clearly.

    Round 2

Left hooks to the body by Rossel. Right hands up top. Economical and calculated attack from Rossel, everything a power punch from outside. Diaz keeps doubling his long jab into Rossel's guard, trying to put a right hand behind it. Rossel pushes him into a corner with straight bombs. Diaz jabs his way out. They jab together and both land. Rossel ducks as Diaz tries to pin his arms together in a vice grip around his head, almost trying to box Rossel's ears in with his elbows. Quick ducking and referee intervention save Rossel. Jabs to the face by Rossel from mid range. Another jab deflects off Diaz's left arm as he throws his own jab, and Diaz is finally able to land one of his right hands. Rossel goes berserk and lands an entire combination in reply before the bell.

    20-18 Rossel

Given the second to Diaz, could see someone scoring it to Rossel but IMO the Colombian had the better of it. Rossel did try to steal it late though
