good to see alex test himself, but of all people to do it against, johnson is the worst possible one imo.

i'm quite shocked they chose this guy.

hope alex wins, but a little bit doubtful.

be good for alex if he could blast the guy out in round 1 or 2.

Huge test for Alex Leapai, and stylistically far from an ideal choice of opponent. But full credit to team Leapai for having the balls to take this one on :good

Expect Johnson to use his height, his reach, his jab and every trick he's got to frustrate Alex and negate his power.

The big question naturally is can Alex catch him?

As much as I'd like to see Alex win, I think Johnson will manage to keep well away and probably win decisively on points.

Gotta love this no bull**** attitude. It will be an enormous leap forward for Aussie boxing if Alex get this victory.

"I'm the one to bring boxing back to life," Leapai told ABC Grandstand.

"Just like Tyson, he was only five foot eleven ... size diidnt matter to him, same thing for me.

"It doesnt matter how tall you are doesnt matter how big you are, they all hit the canvas.

"I'm going the hard way. I just take on the best out there.

"Thats the only way, its the old school way, whoever's in front of you ... take them on.

"I'm ready to take on the Klitschkos now."

It's a bloody tragedy for boxing fans that both tonight's epic fight and tomorrow's aren't being televised :fire

Totally.....very disappointing it's not a fox telecast. Any reason why? They bang on about supporting Aussie boxers and this is probably one of the biggest HW fights for a very long time.
Going to live stream it and have a bunch of mates over for a BBQ....hopefully the live steam stands up.

If its not Aussie vs Aussie...then FOX dont wanna know.

Rather have cringeworthy all Aussie women matches for the QLD State Title.

    yeah and I'm the dimwit?

Walker vs Meehan was on the undercard of a PPV event shown on Main event, It wasn't a Fox friday night card.... That's one of the differences.

Andy raymond has major say on who is on the Big time boxing shows, he doesnt have a say as to who is on Daniel Geales undercards...
