Just out of interest, what would you do if you were Lee Purdy and what would you do if you were Eddie Hearn? I believe Hearn recognises the limitations of Purdy and knows he probably won't win a world title but can give him a career high payday and some US exposure along with the feeling that a loss won't harm him at all. Purdy wouldn't turn down a chance like this, he'll be delighted if it turns out to be true.
