Yeshenov now has a blemish on his record. That's awful.

Not that Zhuravskiy getting the shaft was acceptable, but he already had a couple of losses and was probably brought in to lose as Danyo's overconfident team had likely scouted him as too straightforward to bother their slick boxer, so this doesn't set him back aside from the bitterness of not holding the WBO European title he rightfully earned. Yeshenov ought to have just emerged from a battle of unbeaten prospects with a DOMINANT victory over a solid peer as well as the vacant WBC Youth Silver 154lb title. Now he is without the career-aiding leverage of the zero. I'm raging.

brb, going to start a gofundme for "Justice for Ернар Ешенов" t-shirt campaign to be worn to all small hall shows in the UK in the near future.

Who else is on that list? I'm curious. There's like a thousand of these outfits out there.

I don't even dislike McGurk, in fact I was thinking how much I'd like to see both of these guys again, but man did he ever just get "lucky".

Not crazy about how quick he was to celebrate. Boy you know you got your ass beat. You fought well, showed heart...but your ass got beat.

Siesta doesn't even sound like a real name, wondering if this is a puppet operation belonging to a shady fella named Al from our side of the pond...

Kazakhstan really produces some bad ass fighters. Golovkin was no anomaly. From amateurs to pros their program consistently delivers effective, crowd-pleasing talents.

...so I did some gumshoe work, and it turns out Al Siesta's birth name is Albert Khachaturov. That is distinctly, unmistakably Armenian.

Perhaps a lingering resentment of a people suffering a persecution complex and eager to avenge themselves in whatever passive aggressive way possible against every person of Turkic descent they can get their hands on? :sherlock:

Too conspiracy-theoryish or cartoon-villainy? I say the idea can't be any more absurd than any of those scorecards. :nonono

Oh can't pin this one on god himself Al Haymon. This was from a self described local promoter from Southampton, UK.

He looks only slightly more trustworthy than Eddie Hearn so not very trustworthy.

...yeah, I know. That post was tongue in cheek. If anything, Kazakhstan has some of the best diplomatic relations with the Armenian diaspora (much less genocide-denying and internal xenophobia than many of their more belligerent Turkic brethren, ie Turkey itself or, I dunno, Azerbaijan... :ghost: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramil_Safarov) so that convoluted retribution plot was a real stretch.

AS WERE THOSE ****ING SCORECARDS!!! :cursing2:

This makes me mad. DISGRACEFUL that such corrupt decisions pass by without anyone noticing.
