Thank you for posting that pic, it provides a bit of closure and at least I know he's no longer suffering here on Earth. Rest In Peace El Flaco Explosivo.
you see guys like michael jackson get huge media coverage in britian Alexis got no coverage at all. shame aint it? How could a great fighter be ignored like tht
To be honest, the only boxers who will gain attention in Britain for dying are the likes of Ali, Tyson, Khan, Hatton etc. However, Michael Jackson's death didn't help - it pretty much covered up every celeb/sport death of that week and all other news.
Erm, Frank Warren did...although only about 20 words - talking about the Khan PPV again was more important... Also Jim Watt did a very nice tribute to Alexis on the sky website and when they showed the Ortiz fight on sky.
such a sad picture imagine whats going through his families mind maybe they feel guilty, go forbid my thoughts are with them
They may feel guilty, but they should not. His family, particular his son AJ, were very protective of their father. They hovered close to him at public events and had the kind of love for him that is palpable. As it is, no family, no therapist, nothing short of placing a man on suicide watch forever, is going to stop someone from killing themselves if that is what they want to do.
i defintily hope they dont feel sorry from what i have seen they was a close family. my thoughts are with them
in that picture itt really is sad Duran is the personification of macho and he will cry if he needs to but i never seen Duran like that he looks shell shocked
