Pacs resume lets him down in terms of names on it etc... im comparing him in terms of the weight jumping and unprecedented achievement

but from Flyweight to LWW with Linear titles in all but 1 weight inbetween, thats whats amazing. Thats a 5 weight world champion - atrue 5 weight champion.

Guillermo Jones hasnt held a title in each weight and has only held ABC titles in the divisions he has held one in.

I'm just saying, don't get too hyped on the weight-jumping; actually I'm not saying don't, everyone takes different factors into account when compiling their own lists and that's FAIR ENOUGH.

Myself, I find Pac's weight-jumping, very, very impressive. His power and speed travelling with him is one of the most impressive feats I've seen........well, that I've seen.

Didn't he miss super-fly and Bantam out? He went from Flyweight to super-bantam, or at least didn't win a title at super-fly or bantam.

The flyweight-LWW 112-140 (and now 145/147 jump) is unprecedented, its up there with Armstrong/Langford/Delahoya in weight jumping. However in Pacquaio, Langford, DLH cases thats largely about being in shape at a particular weight and successfully being strong/in shape/big for that certain weight. In effect Langford and Pacquaio have added solid muscle while retaining their boxing skill and stamina better than anyone.

However despite being forces of nature in a way they are jack of all trades but masters of none because I see a good few beating Pacquaio, Langford, DLH at the weights they competed at.

I'm not sure who wins between Pacquaio and Arguello, thats 1 for the ages, Pacquaio has such a speed advantage while Arguello has such techical/range advantages, both bangers with speed otherwise.

Boxings funny though, I always thought Guzman might take Pac at 130-135 and he'll likely never be remembered

yeh your right he missed out them.

i dont normally take weight jumping into too much consideration unless its truly extra ordinary like WW to MW is a good achievement but FLY to LWW thats unheard of

Do not put too much stock on Lineal Titles..... Arguello was not the Linear Champ at 130 but he is remembered as (if not the best) one of the best ever, something that people cannot say about Pac, eventhough he was Linear at 130.... so that alone tells you a lot....

Remember this.... Baldomir became Lineal at 147 and he is going to be remembered as one of the weakest champ at 147 ever....

Belts don't shine by themselves is the boxer who makes them shine.....

Being Lineal or not has nothing to do with being better/best....

Arguello was the best at 130 during his era and he was not "Linear". Peace.
