    Good video, could be a bit longer

    Arguello was technically the most flawless boxer ever

    Cant believe his first war with Escalera 'The bloody battle of Bayamon' is not on youtube

    I'd have to disagree on all but the chin.

    Arguello's Movement and footwork were far superior to Morales's because he never stood still not for a second, Constantly circling to his left all the god damned time, seriously the only times he didn't circle to his left is when he had someone hurt, then he pressed forward.

    A perfect example of this is in the 1st round of the 1st Pryor fight. Aaron come out like a mad man trying to push Alexis backwards but he just exchanges shots while continually moving to his left

    As far as im concerned when it comes to footwork Arguello is the guy to study

    I personally feel that Morales isn't the greatest comparison when you're looking for a fighter who's similar who's to El Flaco.
    It's always been Ricardo Lopez for me.Flawless orthodox style, working behind a solid jab or even an occasionally spectacular lead left hook along with perfect footwork, consistent head movement and beautifully compact punching.
    They are IMO textbook examples of how to fight orthodox without adding anything needless into the mix.
    I've considered Chava Sanchez too,but when I started getting into Finito,Arguello always sprang to mind.

    See what you think;

    A lot of people have also made comparisons between the styles of Arguello and Joe Louis.

    #1 superfeatherweight all time.

    Very highly ranked as a lightweight, but I won't try to put a number on it.

    At 126 Alexis was just a kid. He was world champ, but he wasn't the fighter he became at 130.

    He was certainly the most aesthetically pleasing orthodox boxer/puncher I ever saw.

    I think Little Red had more concussive one-punch power than Alexis. In something like 42 wins little Red had 41 KO's. That's from memory. It's close, maybe off a little. Red put several guys down much the same way El Flaco put Rooney down: Like ya shot 'em in the head!

    At 130 nobody beats prime Alexis, NOBODY.

    Alexis was a ****ing monster.....Loved his style and controlled violence while in the ring. The most calm demeanor outside the ropes but inside the ropes his style was completely different.
