Pacquiao got knocked out against Torrecampo, was on ***** Street against Hussein, and arguably was down against Agapito Sanchez. Take your pro Filipino agenda to a Pacquiao forum boy.
:deal i wonder why Floyd is so adamant about PED's testing..... can't really understand *****s.....they're either crediting Pac for beating bigger guys but at the same time downplaying his accomplishments :rofl Mo's are really special people :hey
On paper Algieri has the tools to make it a really really difficult fight for Pac. But Pac is Pac. Took JMM 42 rounds to finally figure out a counter to that lunging right jab that should've been so easy to counter on paper.
jmm figured that out already. he hit pac with similar counters in the past. difference was this time, memou power peds were in full effect.:good
If it's all about how many divisions you've won a belt in i suppose you believe PAC is the best ever?
I'm not surprised people are giving Algieri a chance. They are either the ones who give every underdog a big chance, hate Pacquiao and refuse to properly accept his skills, or love Pacquiao and attempt to make the fight seem better and closer than it is. This is boxing, they fight the fights for a reason so I'd love to be proven wrong. Would be the first to admit it. But that is just the cycle of predictions in big time PPV mismatches. Sometimes they are correct and power to them in those scenarios. I give Algieri a far better chance than Rios. But I still give him probably at most only a 10% chance of winning.
His 8th division was JMW and unranked Antonio Margarito. The poster you quoted was referring to beating Bradley, a consensus top 3-5 P4P'er, at WW at the age of 35. Not Pac's temporary foray into JMW.
Never say never. We all thought Floyd wouldn't have any troubles with Miadana the first time they fought but we all were surprised by how competitive it was. Algeri is a solid, well rounded fighter. He's also tall and rangy. Styles make fights......I don't think his style is one that will cause Pac problems but his height and reach could if he fights the right kind of fight.
