Quit while you're ahead, kid. You sure got that part right, and I believe every single paying customer who was in attendance at those two so-called fights would totally agree.

This is very true. It's only Ali's that seem to get mentioned by some on here, though.

Well there was a talk about second fight, first fght is very clear he gave a boxing lesson to Liston but you are blinded by hate, its always cool to hear keyboard warriors disrespecting legends, its just shows that you are a low life and nothing more.

 Of course he did. He also took a mid fight break in Narnia during the Zaire fight. That's why he seemed comparatively fresh, while Foreman tired.

Logic doesnt work with these guys believe me, fight vs Cooper was in London and they thing there isnt real tape of the fight, even on BBC show they think Carpenter doesnt have access to full fight video :rofl and British legendary boxing commentator and network BBC are covering for Ali :rofl

The only thing that's "very clear" is that you are a typical dimwitted boxing forum jackass parroting the politically correct party line that you learned on your telavision and don't know your ass from your elbow about boxing or anything else.

    Floyd Paterson:

"During a 1987 interview, Floyd Patterson said he was convinced Liston threw both fights to Ali. According to Patterson, Ali's cut man for the first fight had contacted all of his friends and relatives before the fight and told them that it was fixed, and that they should bet everything they had on Ali (this was also mentioned in a casino sports betting paper in 1991, as well).

Liston's handlers and cornermen got wind of the scheme and put their money down on the "sure thing", and everybody cleaned up - due to the 7-1 odds against Ali at the time of the first fight..."

Pretty much nobody at the time thought the so-called fights were real, especially those who paid to see them, and Clay - now tuned into some kind of bull**** deity by the media masters - was pretty thoroughly, and well deservedly, hated.

More on the hype job Clay alias Ali and his fake fights here:

    http://www.***********.com/forums/showthread.php?t=215898

Also, you could watch the Liston fights with a grownup who might explain to you what's happening.

Note: Link got blacked out, probably because it's a rival boxing website - but there's plenty more where that came from. You need a brain to think with, though.

Once again i like the fact that you dont answer my question, why Carpenter and BBC network are "covering" for Ali, while you watched Coper Ali only on "edited" tapes Harry Carpenter watched it live and did that broadcast i think and definitely had access to unedited video(since we dont have it must be that aliens stole it lol), so you answer me why Carpenter(famous British comentator) and bbc are "covering" for Ali?? come up with answer or STFU with Henry Coopers version of the fight.
PS What Floyd P said it does not make that a proof!!!

True. It's just that trolls have a distracting influence :D I recall awaiting the Ellis fight with great anticipation. I was overjoyed when I woke up the following morning and found out that Muhammad was back to winning ways, after suffering his first defeat at the hands of Joe Frazier.
