    And Sonny got up. Beat the count and started to continue. An unqualified referee who shouldn’t have been in that position then was retroactively talked into believing that he picked up the count late and he stopped it.

    This is not a very good argument.

    I only saw Michael Nunn do what he did to Kalambay one time. Does That mean it was fixed? I only saw Mike Tyson ever bite one guy’s ear (albeit at least twice in the same fight) ... does that mean it didn’t happen?

    After all these years, I haven't come to a firm conclusion. I'd say that more than 50% of the time, I tend to think it was a legitimate punch. But I guess we'll never know for sure.

    Thanks . I have not seen those fights...... Still amazed at the speed of Ali and Frazier..... Thought I was somewhat tough and fast ....
