    Personally I think prime Ali would beat the **** outta Paul Williams.

    Ali acknowledged all this before he fought him and after...saying he would get it him out of there before all the others did but even if he did, he was way past it and it would have been different years ago.....he always made it a point to not go overboard on this fight

    Like others have said, fighters can rarely express their most natural and usual style against their hardest opponents. You don't watch Leonard-Hearns to break down Leonard's style; you don't watch Pacquiao-Marquez to see what Manny was best at; you wouldn't point to a Tyson decision win or one of his biggest fights later on as an example of what the man was all about. It's simply a typical and impressive display of his style against a game available opponent which makes him stand out all the more extraordinarily.
