I think most athletes at or around the top are on roids. I tend to think Wand is on roids and he's seriously one of my favorites, but then there are some people who are just genetic freaks, or guys who have seriously dedicated themselves to training for years and years, some are serious at training and on roids at the same time..

Overeem seriously looks like he is on the juice. That gain of size is deffinately possible, we are talking five years from 03-08, but 2005-2007 looks like the big jump, 2004 looks like he was cutting by picture, but the thing to really look at are the weight gains from year to year. Overall, conceivable without roids given its a five year span. But it appears most of the size was gained in a two year span.

He probably could pass them. The hormones wont be in his system if he went clean just for even a fortnight. Id really like to know what these guys are taking these days because these stacks are just simply incredible. The stuff im seeing in BB circles and the sheer volume of dense muscle is extraordinary for those with great genetics like Overeem.

In a sport like MMA those gains are impossible. If he took 3 or more years out and trained 5 days a week he could only make those gains in lean muscle whilst on something and that would mean zero CV for the entire period. When you gain weight the body simply doesnt just gain lean mass thats impossible. It will gain fat at the same time and the weight gain is evenly dispersed. Overeem has packed on in the region of close to 55lbs or more in lean muscle. He is postively on hormones to make those gains so quick.

What legal ways without steroids could someone get as big as Overeem after having been a middleweight?

Combination of supplements or drugs. So a none steroid stack might be Protein Powder, Creatine and Glutamine.
A steroid stack will just refer to whatever variety of hormones or drugs he is taking.

He's a ****ing juicer who beat Aerts, Hari and lost close decision to Remy despite the fact that his main career is in MMA.

Steroid users are on a combination of drugs for their cycle such as Deca Dbol Tamoxifen Sustanon etc. Stacking hormones is simply more potent with greater effects. But its all trial and error as to how your body responds to them. What works for one person may not work for someone else.

His physical progress is out standing if he were just to concentrate on bodybuidling but i think the doubt is that he has to train in mma/kickboxing which requires time away from gaining quality mass.

Holyfield and Tyson when he came out i believe were juicing.

From the 1980s to the 1990s......there was a huge leap in weight/size. The 1980s heavyweights could have been fighting in the 50s.

I dont think there were. There was no huge leap in size either. Holys first fights at heavy were around the 200lb mark. He has never been higher than 220 even into his late 40's. Thats a massive gain of a lb a year for the last 20 years. In otherwords squat. People made too much of the fact that he trained with Lee Haney. Holy fought at 190. He walked around at 200lbs and came in on his heavy debut around the 200lb mark. As for Tyson after he came out of jail he was lighter. He still never went above the 225 mark until he fought Julius Francis. Thats not the signs of a guy on juice.

Yea but not all steriods are designed for mass, what about the stuff that cyclists and swimmers get caught for? Some different roids can do a variety of purposes depending on your specific needs.

Saying Holyfield wasn't on juice because he didn't gain alot of weight quick might not be true. Royce Gracie is another example.
