One question, Hows come abrahams camp isnt calling out pavlik for abraham to consolidate the belts?? All we hear is Pavliks camp and Kelly himself wanting it and being very vocal on this issue. Is it me or do i hear absolutely nothing from Abrahams camp?:huh

Pavlik would have his way with him and the fight would be nothing but a tune up fight for the Pavlik/Taylor rematch-----Abrahams camp knows this as well.

Seriously, Abraham is a durable tough mother f*cker, no doubt about it.
He's got heart, he's got power and determination, and his skills are underrated, he does have a good chance against Pavlik.
This fight has to come through, if Abraham fights with a broken jaw for 10~ rounds against a wild miranda, then he can eat leather from Pavlik too I suspect.

sound like you're trying to make non-news into "Abraham is ducking Pavlik". There is no better fight for Abraham out there in terms of risk/reward and I'm sure they will take the fight if the split is fair.

No, not ducking him just not hearing anything from his camp. Pavlik has called him out numerous times just in the last 2 weeks of being champ saying he wants a unification and we hear nothing from abrahams camp. Nothing. Last time I checked when a fighter called out another theres at least words of some sort. it may never prosper into a fight but words are their. Abraham has no words. None.

its only been 2 weeks. Maybe his camp has already entered private talks with the Pavlik camp. Public statements are for chumps. Actions speak louder than words.

Ok, I will tell you why. The whole team of Sauerland Event is busy at the moment...some of them are at the WBA convention, some preparing for the next big show in Erfurt (10-27) and the rest is arranging a presser to announce Abraham's next fight in Basel, Switzerland (12-08 ).

So the simple answer is that there is no PR guy to write some in regard to a possible fight between Abraham and Pavlik. There are also still negotiations for a fight between Cunningham and Huck to happen this year. SE hasn't got that much personnel for a big player in the world of boxing promoters.

You should count on a pr after the next Abraham fight at the latest...

This is most exciting and biggest fight that can be made at MW right now.

I thought Pavliks promoters wanted Duddy, Mora, or Marquez , then a rematch against Taylor? That was impression I have received. I havent heard them mention Abraham.

Kelly mentioned him in the presser and Arum did so in the following post-pressers. Pavlik is eager to unify but most probably Abraham isn't his next fight, not even his next but one...IF it's going to happen it would be by the end of 2008 as Abraham has first to debut on HBO to make him more marketable. In the meantime Pavlik will have his optional defense and then would take on Taylor b/c of the rematch clause and cash bigtime...

No Gep. Before & after the fight with Taylor, KP said he wants Abraham & Sturm.

    All the belts...
