All those fans feeling "sorry" for Canelo

I agree and can't add too much to what you've said.

I will add the hindsight bias shown by the Canelo fanboys.
I said before. during and after the fight that Bivol was a cherry pick and many said I was talking crap.
However as you say Bivol hadn't looked great in his last couple of fights and he'd not knocked out anyone out for several years.
So to me it was a cherry pick because Canelo's team just thought they could do what they did in the GGG fights and just rob Bivol as long as it was competitive. The problem was Ginger couldn't deal with Bivol's movement and ended up looking poor.
It was also a cherry pick because the only other alternative for a belt is Beterbiev who has knocked out every man to date.
Anyone who doesn't grasp this only needs to see the whole situation with GGG and how he was avoided until he showed signs of slowing down.
So no I respect Canelo but I dislike his fanbase that refuses to accept that he has had preferential treatment from the start. for evidence of that we only have to look at the Mayweather fight when one judge had it a draw.....he was clowned in that fight too....Oh but Exocet he was green. What really? he was young yes and he got better over time but he had still had over 40 pro fights. That is along with all the other crap is just weak.

Yeah that's exactly it, he's a good fighter. He is not a great fighter. He is not HOF or any of that jazzy shite either. And for those who suggested he was the GOAT I quote that weasle Eddie Hearn ("Bivol is fighting arguably the goat")

 

Lol I know if you dig deep enough you can pick apart all his resume like when there's fighters doing ok against Canelo that makes them great fighters lol no it means an average/Good fighter is giving this good fight trouble we have seen a prime top of his game Canelo fight and his not showing his class his winning but he gets troubled or gets gifts if his fighting top fighters lol long rant but it's mad how people rate this guy

 

I don't feel sorry for ginger nuts. But I feel sorry for Clarissa Shields - for the brutal destruction she's going to receive from Savannah.
