Golovkin was reduced to 32% of his power punches. Canelo shoed great defense by making the KO machine miss that much, not only that but Canelo landed power punches at a higher connect %, and clearly landed the cleaner punches throughout the fight.

Ring generalship was hard to score in this fight because they both did what they usually do, Golovkin plodded forward trying to catch Canelo with something, Canelo lured Golovkin in and made him miss.

It's called running like a rabbit. Canelo was actually running away from GGG with his back to Golovkin for parts of the fight. Of course GGG had trouble catching him. What was he supposed to do, throw a net around him? LOL. Ring Generalship was very easy to score in this fight.

    Running like a rabbit? Lol

Im not sure you understand boxing much more than a plodder coming forward.

Golovkin puts very good pressure, his biggest asset is being able to take a shot to the chin like Antonio Margarito, so credit for that, but if you thought Canelo was running throughout the fight then I understand your your limitations in being able to debate this fight.

Theres no point in trying to debate with you.

There were times that Canelo was backing away, giving away space, resetting, etc but that wasn't for most of the fight. And when he did that it wasn't running like we've seen other fighters do. (Lara vs Canelo for Example) As a G fan, it's no surprise that you're saying that, but you know that's an exaggeration. Looking at the first 3 rounds, for example, neither guy was running. Starting in round 4 Canelo did start to go back to the ropes and back away more, but it wasn't until the 5th that I noticed a change of ring generalship / momentum. G from that point on was clearly the aggressor for several rounds (rounds 6-9), but I didn't see Canelo doing any running. There's a difference between fighting off the backfoot and running.
