    You know, the thought of this turning into an extended rivalry never crossed my mind. If the first fight is close, a rematch could be done in September (to thwart Floyd yet again), and even a rubber match should the rematch go another way. Adding the PR vs Mex rivalry, it sells itself.

    Canelo by robbery. NOONE is going to win on points vs canelo. You see how they pretty much automatically GAVE Canelo like 6 rounds in the Mayweather fight? SD my ass.

    Canelo will win this fight. I'v also got to say i'm not canelos biggest fan, I think we'v all seen the style that he doesn't do well against... but it's refreshing to see somebody willing to take on all comers, even guys like lara who's style isn't great and also didn't have some huge following.

    You will be no where to be found once Canelo makes Cotto take a KNEE AGAIN dont fall for the hype just because Cotto beat some bum and old handicap Martinez REMEMBER the last time Cotto fought a young good fighter (Trout) he got his ass kicked same thing will happen with Canelo and I cant wait.:yep

    Lara landed more punches than Canelo.

    Lara outlanded Canelo in 7 of the 12 rounds (landed the same amount in 2 of the other 5).
