Amazing that so many are picking Cotto. Nobody seems worried about Cotto age,or last time Cotto went against credible opponent in Trout. I don't think Cotto has entered to his 2nd prime at the age of 34 with Roach. People are getting just fooled by Cotto last 2 perfomance against overmatched opponents. Remember Cotto was closer to his prime in 2012 when he fough Trout.next may it's like 2,5yrs from that fight. And Canelo also keep getting better,yes Cotto is more proven.but everything in lighter weights. Cotto is cashing out,like Martinez was doing against Cotto
Looks as if Golovkin will become the mandatory for the winner of Cotto/Alvarez. He will knock both out. Very easy fight for Golovkin, esp. Cotto who ran from him. Cotto knows to stay away from Golovkin and I think Alvarez will have to be forced to fight Golovkin.................
Mayweather clarifed tonight that it will be May 2nd! I know Canelo wants the date(s) but he has to wait one more year. SO when should they fight now?? April is perfect. April 25 could be wild but to close to May-pac if you ask me so I would say 2nd week of April. right after March Madness is over. theres nothing else going on. baseball will have just started and thats boring, Nascar just started, boring.
