I don't think Mayweather-Pacquiao is getting made and I think Cotto-Canelo will move anyway.

Personally...I think it should be PR Day Parade Weekend. Cotto deserves it. It's bad enough it would probably be it a heavily populated Mexican venue (Vegas, LA, Texas) let Cotto have June, and Canelo can have the crowd.

    Fair enough?

Canelo vs. Cotto will sell out a casino or stadium as the sole headliner. No need to stack it on a PPV that will already maximize its buying audience.

Mayweather isn't going to fight Pacquiao, he's going for Khan if he beats Alexander. Alvarez and Cotto shouldn't move nor be worried if Khan is Mayweather's opponent.

Mayweather is bluffing. He will make it seem like the pacquaio fight is THIS CLOSE to being signed. Then Cotto and Canelo will cave and give up the May 2nd date. Then negotiations will fall through and Floyd will fight Devon Alexander on May 2nd.

Sounds about right, I don't see the purse split being resolved.

Canelo and Cotto don't have to cave. HBO and Top Rank is gonna cave for them. There is no where to go for Pac but down and he's proving that by going down to 140. Although Mayweather wanted the fight, he didn't want it right now but his situation is a little hairy also. The WW division is about to change over and Floyd and Pac is forced to get this fight over with and move on.

Am I the only one who thinks Cotto-Canelo would gather a bigger PPV audience than May-Pac, even on the same night?

Canelo: May 2nd is mine and Floyd can kiss my azz unless he fights PAC then I'll give it to him.

Floyd: You can have it Canelo.
