    Is GBP going to match Canelo with Maidana for yet, another "developmental" fight for canelo?

    What is wrong with GBP, Canelo and all the people involved? This has to be the most hyped and over protected fighter in the history of boxing! :fire:twisted:

    This dude has potential but fighithing undersized and well passed prime boxers is doing nothing but continue to pad his record.

    Weak **** if you ask me!

    Agree... Don't like this fight Maidana is weak upstairs. He almost folded vs Soto on Sat. Yes he has power, but wouldn't like to see this.

    Good, I'm glad they're building him up like TR did for DLH. It's the smart thing to do, trusting Canelo against Cotto is more than enough.

    I give a flying duck who canelo fights for his 4th time this year as long as cotto happens cinco de mayo...its gonna be nice seeing Canelo destroy cotto and shut ESB up for good. I hope trout doesn't spoil it and he definitely has a chance to.

    They were talks of pitting Maidana with Alvarez earlier this year, weren't there? Before Lopez was chosen, I think.

    Maybe the OP is getting mixed up with that.

    Boxing is going down the shitter if this is true. Without fair match-up's the sport has no credibilty. Canelo is happy to fight guys bellow his weight division but does't have one shred of bravery or guts to fight somebody one weight obove his.
