He gave him some respect. Did you not see him checking his game and interrupting the interview several times? Come fight night, there will be a very good fight and that is all I care about. If you want to respect the other fighter, fine. Myself, back in the day, my mind set is to put you to sleep. I will respect you after the fight. Ala, Duran mentality.

You seem to be reaching. He likes Cotto. They been planning to do business together for awhile.

Cotto has an air of calm menace. I don't think he is as easy to get a rise out of as the other guys.

These speculations are so silly. Being civilized doesn't equate to intimidation. Mayweather's thuggish antics are like trolling. If I don't troll does that mean I'm intimidated by the mods? No. Maybe I want to take the day off or mix things up every now and then.

Mayweather is not a guy who can hide his emotions well. If he's scared or intimidated the signs will very clearly show in his expression or behavior. Mayweather respects whomever he wants. There are guys he's easy with - guys like Cotto and JMM. And then there are guys he slaps around (Ortiz, DLH, etc.). It's normal human behavior. Floyd is probably a little concerned due to Cotto's determination but that's a good thing because it means we'll see Floyd's focus dip a bit which gives his opponent a nice chance to score something big. You can trouble FMJ. But can you finish him? That's the real question.

PBF doesn't have any bad blood with Cotto just like he didn't with JMM. He respects and likes both of them. He isn't going to trash talk them like he did with Hatton, Mosley, Oscar and Ortiz. You thinking that he's intimidated is wishful thinking at best.

the one thing floyd and muhammad ali has in common...

ali would over talk his over matched opponents later in his career.
Ali even once said Henry Cooper had a better left hook than Joe Frazier.
at this point in time, to talk about destroying a guy who is the champion as you go up a few pounds and already a 5-1 favorite is pretty pointless.

whoopie, floyd is going to destroy the guy manny pac "destroyed" 3 years ago ... kinda of a let down when trying to sell tickets and promote something people will see as "competitive"

he talks about how he will kick pacs ass and its not even a match....yet he cherry picks guys that got their ass handed to them by the former flyweight champ :yep
