Khan - Maidana 140pounds 12 rounds suck my balls Maidana, alexander @ 147 and 10 rounds! AND southpaw! Chat **** all day. Bradley ducked KHan..fact. Styles make fights. You watch.
Khan, Alexander, Kotelnik, Maidana, Peterson, ORtiz.... they're all on the same level. Just good fighters but nothing special.
Yeah, it would be a good fight. But don't think because of that fight we just watched the two are now on equal terms. Because to correct your post: Khan dominated a guy that Alexander needed a gift decision against, and now Alexander dominated a guy that Khan had a close fight with but deservedly won. Alexander fought a lesser version at a more unnatural weight (for Maidana), too. If we're making comparisons, let's do it properly.
True. A Khan-Alexander fight seems 100% makeable since they're both GBP fighters, so hopefully we get it.
At 147 plus STM. Kotelnic Beat Alexander in most people's eyes and was exposed as a limited stiff yet Khan beat him.
khan got exposed early in his career everyone jumped on the bandwagon bcoz roach says so. roach could train mallignaggi and the same thing would happen.one word HYPE
I don't think Maidana is a shadow of himself, the Khan fight was only just over a year ago. Alexander's style just does best against slower come forward punchers who fight on the outside - see Urango and now Maidana. Urango was a similar level of opponent. He has the speed and power to not just outbox but hurt these type of opponents. Alexander is supposedly more comfortable at 147 too and it looks that way. Alexander does poorly against technicians, with quality defence and decent jabs and in fighters. See Kotelnik, Bradley and Mattysse. Mattysse dominated Alexander, should be undefeated and is the most underrated man in boxing imo. The Kotelnik fight was very close where Kotelnik did little in the early rounds. Bradley beat him but it was reasonably close to the extent where I wasn't sure who they'd give it to. Khan does better against slower technicians and doesn't usually do aswell when someone is able to back him up, pressure fighters and punchers give him more of a problem I think Alexander-KHan would be a pretty interesting fight, I'd lean to Khan with his jab but with similar speed and the fact both can be hit I wouldn't be too sure which way it'd go.
Kotelnik tapped that ass aswell as Mathysse. Styles make fights ill give Alexander credit for the win but seriously this hype train is going to be annoying
