Murray breezed past lawton even with weight problems IMO, but yeah Warren has gradually found better and better opposition,,even when this has meant being exposed,, however in my opinion there is a level of cherry picking going on, Amir is 'first among equals' but thats not his fault,,,if he brings in the money and PPVs so be it. I wish him all the best and think he will beat Kotelnik,, even though there are tougher tests,,most down at lightweight though....He is a decent lad,,but theres just something missing in terms of his charisma for me,,which hasnt made the British public fall in love with him like they did with Naz- if you like Naz had arrogance in a good way,,amir may be humbler,,but whatever he has its in a bad way? A bit like that tennis player Andy Murray

roach is gonna get him to the top through clever m,atch ups and avoiding the risky ones which is why even if he wins on saturday he will give up the belt so he dosnt have to fight madaina who is "too risky" according to roach now i dont like that especially when the preferred fight is erik morales who hasnt fought for 3 years and in his last fight was complainin about headaches even though i reckon he wont beat morales because hes too stubborn and has a good punch on him and wont be in a weight division were he was drained like in his last two fights with pac

Exactly. Boxing fans don't like it when fighters get undeservedly hyped before they've done anything, are carefully matched against feather-fisted journeymen, and then sparked out in one round against an unknown.

let me elaborate on some points...

him being ppv has nothing to do with him its his promoters choice if anyone is to blame for this choice its the fans, warren knew khan had developed a big fan base and hence knew alot of money could be made if khan was put on ppv.

prescott has not got a title shot because he has a **** promoter and khan has a good promoter so whos fault is that?

and how do you know he will continue to dodge big punchers???

When did I ever blame Khan for any of what I said!?!? The facts are there though, and this is why people have taken a disliking to Khan!! I'm not saying it's right or that it's all his fault...I'm just laying the facts out for you!!

P.S I don't know for sure he'll avoid big punchers...but we'll see if he takes on his mandatory - if he wins (Maidana) in his next fight!! My guess is no!!

after reading in the paper that Roach will not risk him for the mandatory challanger caz he might get KO, Khan may win against Kotelnik but that will be his only world title he will ever win, caz he simply couldnt beat any of the others. I put my months wages on it. How can you call yourself a world champion if your aim is to dodge fights, joker.

I didn't say they were classy opposition, I said they were worthy opposition. Yes, as a Khan fan I would have liked to have seen him fight the much hyped Murray, instead of Gomez or Kristjansen, but that's not the way boxing works. It's always been about risk vs reward. But maybe we should concentrate on his fight with Kotelnik as the past can't be reversed. He may not deserve his shot, but he does deserve much praise if he wins on Saturday. Anybody who is not willing to say "Hey well done Amir. You have beaten a world class opponent and you deserve credit.", is not a boxing fan in my book.

And Khan was up at the count of 1 against Limmond. How would a slow count change the fact that he was up at 1 and ready to fight? He only took the knee again to show he was ready to carry on. Blame the referee for the slow count, not Khan.

I hope that Khan fights Hatton next if he wins on Saturday or maybe Salita. A fight with Hatton would be a huge British fight, but Salita would give him U.S exposure, and a win would set him up against the likes of Juan Diaz, JMM, or Timothy Bradley. While a fight with Morales would be a good marketing ploy, and a certain win, I wouldn't respect that decision. Morales should stay retired.

He can write all the essay's he wants. He asked for the truth and I gave it to him.

Khan is a Glass Jawed joke who is going NOWHERE in the sport of Boxing because he can't take punches even from feather fisted fighters.

Roach has already stated Khan will be reliquishishing the title if he wins on saturday, now that Maidana's mandatory. Instead he'll be looking for a foght with a shot to bollocks Morales.

This tells you all you need to know about Khan.

Actually Khan has Salita as an option if he wins. Salita is a very good boxer, and a dangerous opponent.

Ah, Salita. If I ever saw more carefully matched fighter than Khan, that's Salita.
