To be honest the Aussies didn't get as much pleasure from it as you. Perhaps that says something.

Khan's hands & defense were non existent...& his china chin came to the four getting hit clean for the 1st time not by a midget & knocked down hard.
Back to the drawing board now....i doubt any brits will say Katsidis will lose to Amir Khan now.

yeah even his jab before the 1st kd rocked and pushed Khan back.

Then when he first got dropped i thought that was it, he stumbled backwards then Colombian came and finished the job.

Yeah Frank Warren screwed himself today both Arthur and Khan losing.
Who does he have now, just Kevin Mitchell being undefeated? I remember another brit saying Mitchell would be the first to beat Khan.

I would have almost put a lobster on Prescott for the KO just looking at this fight on paper but I had seen him fight before. I wish I hadnt because it clouded my judgement.

He looked unimpressive, gassed out at times and struggled against a mover. I thought a boxer like Khan who has some pop wouldnt have a hard night with him. Way off...thats boxing though, gotta love it.

Yeah from what i read he didnt perform too well in the past although he still won. Also his ko's were not over anyone special.

well i'm a brit and and i'm genuinely sad for the kid.like a lot of fight fans over here we could see this coming, although to be fair we certainly didn't think it would be so devastating and possibly not against this opponent although prescott is obviously a banger.khan is a real talent but unfortunately his jaw is seriously weak, and i really can't see anyway to world level for the kid.

Phil, are you trying to promote Willie or getting him to fight for the IBO?? I'm surprised at a comment like this, being the VP of IBO and all. I thought maybe there may be a bit of impartiality when it comes to forums.

Hi Wrangler not at all, I have previously stated in another forum that I like Willie's chances against Khan whilst Brit fans were giving him Buckley's and none. Willie's path is what it is I am not trying to promote him but also examining Khan who prior to this fight has been dropped three times, twice in his last fight against Gomez who was past his prime and up in weight. Did you see the fight? I have called it exactly as it was, no more and no less. I don't think Cool Willie is the next coming but he is a heck of a prospect with a lot to offer. I think you may have read more into the post than is actually there, but one word of advice, if you are looking for impartiality you are wasting your time searching in forums. These are generally fans opinions who feel heatedly about their views and favourite fighters and this will come out more often than not. I do not count myself in this,I love to talk boxing which is why I come into these things as I choose to socialise outside of boxing circles mainly and nearly all my friends are not really into it outside of what I am doing and I have to have my pugilistic fix! Khan's defeat was a devastating one and like Ron UK I genuinely feel for the lad, from my English colleagues they have all said he is a smashing lad. Today's match-up was far from ideal and Khan has had question marks over him that always made Kickett a good chance of beating him

Phil , Gomez put Khan down once not twice. He was down against Limond also , then he fought a French guy ( iirc ) and he put him down also. He was also put down in his second to last amateur bout. Khans unpopularity is also more down to how Frank Warren has promoted him rather than how Khan is himself.
Away from hard core boxing fans he is a popular guy. Unfortunately for him he cannot take a shot, i cannot recall him taking a full blooded shot and staying upright in his entire career, he will have retired in a couple of years i think.
