I honestly think Amir Khan is the best British prospect out there, He is ahead of other boxers his age, Victor Ortiz etc and he is ahead of even boxers older than him. I think in the UK from 135lbs to 154lbs Khan is the best boxer the UK. Also I rate him higher than Bradley, I really believe Khan would beat the living daylights out of Bradley, Also Khan -V- McCloskey is a mismatch, McCloskey goes from fight Barry Morrison to fighting one the best fighters on the planet. Khan has it all, Skill, heart, looks, crossover appeal and dare I say a good chin! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33no4lX9Fgg[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39RChcXSWIo[/ame]
I still call him a prospect because he can be a hall of famer, Its up to him how far he wants to go, He can move up and down weight categories its all up to Khan what kind of legacy he wants to leave. I think he will surpass Hatton which in itself is a great feat.
Khan is a world champion who appears on ppv both sides of the atlantic - no way is he a prospect. I also have not voted in the poll as the only options involve one fighter winning by a mile, also if you go with the Khan wins option it also means you are voting for him as a prospect. I don't think that anyone destroys anyone in that fight, and there won't be a prospect in the ring. Unless they employ a very young but promising referee, in only his fifth or sixth fight as a ref, which is doubtful. Khan outearns 90%+ of the sport, is ranked in the top three in the division by most people and is a reigning world champion. His days of being a prospect are behind him.
I can understand what you mean you just need a better word then prospect because he's gone past that phase of his career.
