At no point were Khans legs gone, ive watched it on the telly and pretty close up at the event it self, he was shook and he'd lost his composure but there's a big difference between that and the state Judah was in when he got tagged by Tszyu, its laughable that comparison is even being made

but nothings surprising on this board , its wall to wall jokers

Your right I dont 100% know but lets be honest you can have a pretty good idea. Lets just look at footage of other elite fighters in their development and earlier fights and does he really look that special, I personally dont think so. But hey he could be a late developer and shock me but at the moment I'm not buying into the hype, Sorry.

i could see khan roughing up any fighter including maywheather as he has excellent offensive skills and speed. he's just lacking in many other departments and needs to take a step back for at least 2 years under a world class trainer.

i think he just need to learn not to be so gung ho as he steps up, if he can curb that and be taught to be more tactically astute, I think he has the speed and power to do well, at the moment he thinks he can go in and blast oppoents away in a couple of rounds, but hopefully he's realised that isn't going to happen as he moves up the ladder.

Now he needs someone who can show him how to minimize his weaknesses while still making the most of his strengths.

I think one of the things he lacks is the ability to rough up an opponent. He has skill and some heart but still seems to not be aggressive and bullish enough for a Thaxton let alone a mayweather. Saying that though he does seem to be packing on the muscle and getting bigger, maybe in the future he might be able to rough someone up but not at the moment.

...i think a good route for khan will be the domestic route cos its full of some pretty tough fighters who WILL test him......if he can reign over here, then onwards and upwards...i really do think the kid has a future, he obviously has talent, he can bang...and he may be a bit chinny....sounds like its gonna be a roller coaster career....

He is great fighter to get behind because his chin is suspect. His offensive skills and suspect chin makes his fights very exciting.

Forget the hype, the hype is to make as much money as possible in the shortest time period, this is called professional boxing for a reason.

He really needs to create a defence though. Warren should abandon the kickboxer Harrison and get a class trainer in like Manny who is experienced in teaching young talented fighters the art of defence you would think Khan would have asked the defensive master Kindelan for some advice. The best thing about Khan is that he is 20 years old, has bags of talent, and is incredibly keen to learn, so a lot of it could come on. The chin however he was born with, but so was the heart.

I was actually referring to British boxers, lost my bearings and didnt realise i wasn't in the British forum.

My point was, this was a pretty tough fight for a 12th meeting, all this hate Khan is getting is ridiculous.

This is the second time Amir Khan has been been dropped by a featherweight puncher.

Khan doesn't have a chin and thats something you can't work on to improve. The only way to mitigate against this weakness is with a strong guard and great offence.

I wouldn't say its time for Amir Khan to call it a day but his weakness is clear and every other boxer who goes against him will look to exploit it.

One thing is for sure, Warren won't be giving him any tough defences for the next few years.

    Regards,

Khan should change trainer and **** off to America, and get Manny Steward/Freddie Roach/Any Mayweather as trainer. This trainer he's got nows an amaueter trainer. No need to panic tho

While Khan is still a work in progress, it should be noted that Limond is not a powerful puncher, not known for his punching power, & he had Khan really hurt. If Limond would have landed another right hand like the one that ricked Khan, it would have been over, no question.

As Frank Warren said after the fight: "those who think Amir is ready for a title shot, are obviously idiots. He still has the L-plates on".

All the talk of Khan saying he'll be world champion by the time he's 21, well, if he is to achieve this, then he's gonna have to improve on his defense a great dela in a short space of time.

Barry McGuigan even stated that Khan still has the habit of not having his hands up high enough. I feel the match-making of Khan will be scruperously done from now on. The commodity nearly all went belly-up on saturday. Fortunate for Khan & Co., Limond was not a concussive puncher.

The jury is very much still out!
