well said,he is young and tallented enough to get back from this,he showed good heart. If only the same had not happend to Naz then he might not of got so complacent cuz Amir will know the hard work ahead!
Yes i agree,he needed someone to show him how tough boxing really is,no point whats so ever in doing guys who cant fight in 2 or 3 rounds, only to see his backers and fans and the uk media then hyping him to death,we all knew his first few fights dont mean much, from here on in though, its gonna be interesting to see what they do with the kid. Hes fast as hell, has decent power, and i like his style,EXCEPT you do worry what will happen to him now, when ever he meets any one with a real punch,a few losses or bad knock downs like on sat night, will sadly see the media drop him,and people then turn on him. He seems a nice kid to me,i was though getting worried when he began to seeminly believe his own hype, and slag off some good uk fighters, when he has done **** all in the pro game, and beat no one worth a damn, the balls now in his court to prove any doubters wrong,id hate to see another harrison joke thing start to emerge, not in the fact hes **** like harrison, because hes not,but from the over hype and bad mouthing of other fighters, when you have yet to prove yourself, something audley harrison failed to really realise.
ok then well Kostya Tszyu in his 12th Pro fight, fought Angel Hernandez who had a record of (40-1-2) with 23 KO's. so what is your point. if the hype's so big about this kid im pretty sure that Jeff Fenech won the the IBF Bantamweight World Title in his 7th Pro fight. there my 2 favourite fighters all time.
Well said,he could do alot worse than to spend some time with Ricky Hatton, not so much for boxing reasons more for the PR side of the sport,we dont tend to like mouthy fighters in the UK unlike the Americans(Zab and Mayweather) Not many people in the UK like Witter to much or would be bothered if he lost because he is a mouthy twat,Amir is a likeable lad with lots of raw tallent he just needs to focus on that, like i said in my last post the knockdown could be the making of him.
They showed some of it on a news report tonight and they put a clock onscreen and showed he got a 13 second count, only getting up afte going back down onto his knee on the count of 10!!!!!!!!!!! He should have lost.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl So true. Look for Khan to get KTFO IF his handlers ever let him in with any decent fighter who can punch! :yep Personally, I expect them to RIGHT back to the light-hitting tomato cans they padded his record with. They have an investment in this china-chinned HYPE JOB, after all. :nod
The fight was bent. He should have lost. I aint a Khan hater but that incident was a digrace and a a big **** stain on british boxing.
