Maidana is a naturally big puncher but very raw so he doesn't get the stoppages he should. He has power to hurt anyone but there are fights when he doesn't get going and he looks like he has average power, such as against Morales and Corley. I don't think the fact he didn't stop Khan proves that Khan has a decent chin, I think it exemplifies the problems with Maidana's technique. Raw power is one thing but without boxing ability, its not enough to stop world class opponents, even if they are chinny. The 10th round against Khan says less about Khan's chin and more about Maidana's failings as a puncher.
what? I was using it as an example... 9 times out of 10 if another fighter was in the same position the fight would have been finished.
I take back some of what Ive said about Khan before, but fighters with bad chins can still win fights. Its not the one and only aspect of boxing.
Laz... Erik Morales is a 36 year old featherweight that's had more wars than Khan's had knockouts. You really need a sense of perspective here.

Khan does not have a glass jaw but he does not have as good chin as you think Laz. I would say his chin is slightly below average.
