exactly right. It's the same thing with people working hard, earning their money, they have a decent car in the driveway and nice clothes on and their a "flash ****" don't be a success in the UK, its the worst thing you'll ever do for peoples perception of you :-(
Ironically its the lessons in life your preaching that Amir Khan himself needs to listen too BTW your post is very well written and a dam good read But .................. when Khan begins to show " respect " to others around him , and humble's up a bit , i will then probably begin to like the kid again , as it stands the lad just gets worse , like i said i don't like bashing one of our own who is a stand out fighter , but he leaves us with little choice , its hard to comprehend what comes out of his mouth :deal
Have you had a meal with Khan, chilled out with him or gone up and spoke to him my guess is probably not. He probably thinks you're a bit of a twat if he read your post but I bet if you two met in person you probably would get on.
Ambition is the ultimate sin in the UK. Let the peasants have their hero's then topple them so as to let them know ambition is futile & only leads to eventual dissapointment so best be safe & keep yer head down & obey orders, plod on plod on & plod on some more with a bit of community bingo thrown in. You can murder a kid in this country & get half the sentence you would if you robbed a bank or embezzled a few mill out of an insurence company which about sums it all up.
