I think he Khan, my biggest hope is that he lears some humility and becomes a humble man, he also needs to work on his defence, his footwork and jab. In a way it's lucky a guy like petersen showed up the flaws because Amir Khan now set to work on fixing them, and it shouldnt take much improvement to beat Lamont in the rematch, thus he gets 2 camps to work on these flaws, before going into a big fight.
he can come back but i think he is so far up his own arse that what happened on saturday will continue to happen to him at this level peterson should make him wait because of the sh.itty comments he made , demanding a rematch was quite funny when he has constantly ducked out of a rematch with prescott and maidana
Why do people keep bringing this up. Prescott beat him and Amir beat Maidana clearly, no rematch is necessary in either case.
Unless he can get a ref that'll allow him to cheat (like most have in the past, to be fair) or judges that'll look favourably on Khan, even if hes losing, I cant see his inside game improving enough to beat Peterson in 3 months. Peterson has Khans timing down now and knows how to exploit Khans main weaknesses, if anything I see Peterson dominating him from round 1 or 2 and possibly winning by TKO or KO. I think Peterson will fight someone else before Khan, Peterson holds all the cards now.
Maybe that was the reason people thnk its necesary. Why is khan vs peterson 2 necessary? Peterson beat him, no rematch necesary?
i love what you done there changing can for khan, truly original stuff you should send your cv into the sunday times
He barely learnt after the Prescott defeat, so not sure how much more he will learn after this. Dont get me wrong, he is a world class fighter and obviously top 5 in the light welter division but he has so many flaws that still have to be corrected that should of been by now. His accuracy is not great and his inside game is obviously a major weakness. He needs to be more humble and work on his flaws if he wants to climb the p4p rankings in the future.
Ofcourse he can bounce back. He is very talented, but needs to hit the gym and work on his inside game. He hasn't really improved from the Maidana fight TBH, and that is worrying.
Of course he can, and im sure he'll win plenty more world title fights yet but the people who are expecting him to be top 1 or 2 pound for pound at some point are going to be disappointed.
