Khan is one of the best boxers P4P today. He's technically sound from what I've seen (didn't see the canelo fight yet) and his skill reminds me more of the 90s era of fighter, which were way better than todays. However he just doesn't have the chin to hang with big bangers. Its too bad, but you can't really curse him for the canelo fight. He has enough problems with his chin from opponents his own size but he really needs to be careful who he fights. Cotto will probably KO him also but do think Khan can outbox him now that cotto is slowly washing up.

His skillset is as basic as it comes.

Straight lines, 1, 2, flurry.

No head movement, no movement at the waist or fluidity.

No inside fighting ability, his speed is his only great attribute, but at elite or top tier opposition he still gets found wanting.

Oh and an atrocious chin.

 

Khan is a true ***** if he said that he won't ever fight Brook. Hatton was a ***** for saying that he wouldn't fight Witter...and both got their **** knocked in.

 

Canelo has added facets to his game since the Floyd fight.

I think between them, Canelo is the more skilled fighter.

 

Khan is delusional and this is coming from a Khan supporter. His problem is that he does not recognize his limitations.

He did get outboxed by Canleo. Canelo studied him and understood that Khan's pitter patter punches are predictable, he is easy to counter and easy to time. Prescott outboxed him and Garcia outboxed him the same way.

 

reminds me of the myth that khan was outboxing garcia until he got caught with a lucky shot. the same lucky shot that garcia had landed multiple times as khan rushes in head first with his chin hanging in the air. khans elite boxing skills are a myth.

 

Canelo and Garcia were timing Khan from round 1.

They didn't get lucky, Khan is just THAT predictable.

 

Well, at least we know he's okay.
