    For boxing reasons it is always good to be able to say you have beaten everyone you have faced.

    He rematch kindelan as his last amateur fight and was well regarded because of it.

    Plus, if peterson won't travel for the money offered, and mcloskey prices himself out, even people against prescot must begin to see him as the best available opponent.

    Prescott will be calling out Amir Khan when he's on his death bed.

    It's the only way he's ever going to get back on TV, never mind in the big time, so he's bound to do it.

    Boxing history is littered with these kind of upsets..... there's no big deal about Khan getting on with his career and putting it behind him. It's just that in the modern era there's a vehicle for the likes of Prescott to seek more publicity.

    Can't blame Prescott for pushing for it. If I was Khan, Goldenboy or Sky I'd want the Prescott fight.

    Khan avenging a defeat will be more significant when his career is looked back upon. McCloskey would be of no more significance than Malignaggi. Prescott fight would sell well also, you know the haters will tune in hope of seeing him KO'd again.

    okay, everyone seems to agree that the Prescott fight is in Khan's best interests. But Khan's best interests and boxings best interest are not the same thing and Khan v Prescott is not the most competitive fight that can be made.

    Bring on Khan v McCloskey...
