Khan really won't shut the **** up talking. He's been laying square mileage of groundwork for colossal backlash if he gets put to sleep again.
I really don't see why people point out Khan's arrogance and lack of intellect as a reason why they don't like him. If you are going to dislike Khan for that then you are going to dislike a hell of a lot of fighter's. I love boxing and i have the utmost respect for boxers for the courage and dedication that they show but lets be honest, most of them are arrogant (they have to be really. You won't get anywhere in your boxing career without belief/confidence/arrogance), a lot of them have spouted **** at one point or another in their careers and quite a few of them are dumb. I don't see much difference between Khan's out of ring ramblings compared to most other boxers.
i'm saying give it a break sometimes. most fighters talk smack, but he seems to be making ludicrous comments every second day. at least say something credible every now and then, lol. at the end of the day the guy can talk as much as he wants, but at the rate he is going it is making it hard to want to watch him fight. i'll save my cash to watch somebody else fight.
I dont see any stupid stuff coming out of his mouth. He says he can beat Bradley and Alexander, I agree 100%, and he should think that way. He thinks he will be ready for Floyd in 18months, I agree, he will physically be near his prime and is an elite fighter himself. If Judah, Hatton & Baldomir a LW JMM were good enough to get in the ring with Floyd then I'm sure Khan will be given a year or 2.
I think the same thing but you have to understand that he is just a kid. Come on the dude is only 23 years old and not a very bright one at that. Give him a few years and i am sure he will mature.
Another thing which people don't realize on here, is the fact that Khan is interviewed far more regularly than the likes of Alexander, Bradley, Maidana etc. So his comments, despite them being no different to any other fighter, tend to be magnified and circulated much more. This gives off the impression to most people here on ESB, that Khan talks double the smack that others do. Which begs me to ask the question......If Khan is this smack talker that you guys say he is, could you please tell me what's the most ridiculous/arrogant thing he's said since coming on to the world stage? I'd be interested to know.
