Ignore the title of the youtube video

Wanted to revisit this fight for Khans up and coming bout with Kell Brook Feb. 19th

    Personal score:
    R1 10-8 Khan
    R2 10-9 Khan
    R3 10-9 Khan
    R4 10-9 Peterson
    R5 10-9 Khan
    R6 10-9 Khan
R7 10-8 Peterson (Peterson winning the round + Referee point taken)
    R8 10-9 Peterson
    R9 10-9 Peterson
    R10 10-9 Khan
    R11 10-9 Peterson
R12 9-9 (Better round for Khan, but another point reduction for excessive pushing)

    Total: 113-112 Khan

Honestly found the point reductions ridiculous, no stern warnings for a point reduction either time. Add two points to Khan for the judges scores and he wins the fight.

Khan wasn't the best fighter (and definitely not the best chin ) but he was a solid boxer.
Drop your scores/opinion in the replies.

I had Khan by a point

    Roid cheat
    Ref on his side
    Judges manipulated by ringside hatman

Khan got shafted. IBF are a joke.

    Bradley shouldn't have ducked him.

People claim Khan has no chin but he took Peterson's best, same with Maidana for numerous rounds. Khan was prime in 2010/11 at 140. He was the BEST man in the division. Bow down.

I don't have my scores, but I recall that should have been an Khan win. Khan got screwed from a legit win.

I always did think Khan as over hated, bit delusional outside the ring but inside the man was a beast.

Not a beast but massive confidence in his ability which is why he succeeded as an Olympian. Mindset is huge in boxing.

Last revisited and scored it around a year ago, my views didn't change much. Fight made for pretty straightforward scoring and, if anything, the decision looked even more egregious/crooked in hindsight.

114–111 Khan, for me. Lamont hung tough and put up a good, competitive fight, but awarding him more than four rounds is a generous act — and should you stretch to give five sessions to the D.C. man, Khan should still get the verdict even notwithstanding the point deductions (the knockdown he scored cancels one of them out).

I never understood the vile hatred of Khan. Like it's not even 'meh', it's one HAS to hate him or be a fan.
Yeah, he was arrogant. Which makes him pretty much like everyone else that posters here cheer for.

I had Khan winning by two from what I remember. Khan get's a lot of irrational hate that I don't think is that deserved. He's a bit deluded and a dimwit out of the ring but then quite a few boxers are. They're not brain surgeon's for ffs.

    He wasn't arrogant more deluded.

In Britain, alot of the hatred towards him is race driven. You see it in alot of the comments on Youtube and on Facebook. His race and ethnicity is brought into it ALOT.

Brits are assholes for this kind of thing.

Delusions run rampant in boxing. Most boxers worth a damn are delusion, ego centric, and not to mention, rather naive.
As for the racism....well...Britain's gonna Britain. Misogyny and racism may as well been invented there in the triple digits era UK.

If you didn't last check, Britain along with the US are the most diverse multicultural nations ON EARTH. If you want to cry about racism live somewhere else.

    Fixed? No
    Partial US referee? Yes
Scored by 2 partial US judges? Yes
Was something done about Peterson afterwards admitting he was doped up for the first fight? Nope

I really don't like Khan, but he got screwed over that night.

This isn't just an US thing though.

Haven't watched in yrs but had Khan by 1 or 2

I do think Khan was adequately warned i cant remember whether it was the same round or the round before the first point but the ref said a warning without calling time. I posted on it when the fight happens. Its tough to catch

    Very exciting fight

    My memory says 114-111 Khan.

If you hate the guy moving backward and really value the one moving forward, then you could have scored this for Lamont. Its only a difference of 3 points, hardly some monumental robbery even if I dont agree with the decision.
