Come on lufc, not a big puncher?

If so, then what are the other guys? Non-Punchers?

Maidana hits hard. He is a big puncher.

you find one person marcos has knocked out cold in the last 4 years. just one.

his power is over rated, massively.

i dont even put him in the top 3 biggest punchers at 140

    Alright, I trust your judgement.

But what difference would it make when you've got a guy who's got a suspect chin and resistance?

It makes none. He's still got a hell of a lot of power to make Khan worry about.

You don't? Then who do you have as your top 3? :huh

I was live at the Ortiz fight.

I could hear Maidana's punches landing on Ortiz, all of us could. He's a beast.

There's a Transcript interview on page 8 with Maidana if anyone is interested.

    Good read.

Punching power combined with ability to land on opponents puts Maidana number 1 as far as punchers go at 140 IMO.

he might have enough to put him down, i dont question that cos limond managed it. but he dont have enough to trouble him. not enough to make us get worried. not enough to stop him.

and my top 3: judah, urango, ortiz

bailey would be top if he hadnt moved up. maidana is on a similar power level to khan IMO

lucky *******! im over in england so the only fights i get to see these days are khan and haye fights

im just not sold on his power. he might prove me wrong and knock khan out, but even if he lands i dont see it happening.

Dude, he's gone the distance like what? twice?

His fight with Kotelnik was fairly close on the cards and he dropped corley in his only win which wasn't a KO.

    Come on man, seriously?

Gomez, Limond put Khan down and had him in trouble.

Maidana is a bigger puncher than Prescott. Prescott got Khan out in 1 round.

Maidana has similiar power to Khan? No, sorry but I really heavily disagree with you.

    Maidana has big power.

ye he dropped corley, and corley recovered. im not saying he wont drop khan, but if he does, khan will recover.

maidana hasnt knocked someone clean in years. his stoppages are due to opponents quitting or body shots.

plenty of people can pad records with early stoppages. dont make them a big hitter in my eyes. the proof for me is when they are in with big names.

his biggest 3 names so far have been kotelnik, ortiz and corley. he didnt knock one out clean.

plus corley was as shot as they come. hernandez(berto's next opponent) knocked the absolute **** out of corley.

they put him down yes, but they couldnt finish him off. only prescott so far has managed that.

maisana is a bigger puncher than prescott? what evidence is there to suggest that?

seriously, if there is a stoppage in this fght it will be by khans hands, not maidana's.

khan might not have the same strength as maidana, but his speed more than makes up for that differential.

Amir's glass baby is getting shattered, EARLY!

No point doing any stamina training, he will be on the canvas early.

No doubt the little fraud will come out and say "this was the best thing that ever happened to me, I was getting to arrogant again.." along with the usual "lucky punch" and "one in a hundred chance"....
